A rewarding career while making a difference! Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York provides programs and services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses.
Located in Red Hook, NY (12571), this position will be responsible for providing direct and indirect behavior analysis and behavioral programming services to residents.
The BCBA conducts appropriate assessment (including functional behavioral assessments and/or analyses); develops, implements, and monitors behavioral programs of assigned individuals and overall program; and serves as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team providing care and treatment that is appropriate to the ages and populations served, specifically adults with intellectual and behavior challenges (dual diagnosis).
Salary:
$64114
per year; increases depending on education and experience.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Masters degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Mental Health Counseling or related field.
BCBA required (or in process).
Experience:
Must have strong behavioral analysis skills and experience working with children/adolescents/adults with Intellectual / developmental disabilities/autism spectrum disorders.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications.
Valid driver's license must be maintained.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Free of dependency and abuse of illegal or illicit drugs, alcohol, inhalants or other chemical substances.
Significant, prolonged, and frequent amounts of walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, and lifting of 20 or more lbs.
